Chirascan-plus qCD spectrometer

The Chirascan-plus qCD is located in IBMS N133, Dr. Chinpan Chen's laboratory. This instrument measures circular dichroism and absorbance spectra simultaneously. In addition to CDNN, a protein secondary structure prediction program, two extra analysis softwares, Global 3 Thermodynamic Analysis and qBIC Biocomparability Suite, provide dynamic multimode (CD, absorbance, temperature) analysis and statistical comparison of sets of spectra at far-UV and near-UV regions.

Please refer to Instrument Manual for details.

Important Notification:

* (2018-06-13) Chirascan+ is available for service.

* (2018-04-16) Chirascan+ is not available because of lamp problems. Service is called. Sorry for the inconvenience.

* (2017-04-03) Free qCD sample tests available for Sinica users. Please apply sample submission through BCF reservation system.
